The check-in time is 4pm, and check-out is 11am. For cottages, check-in is also at 4pm, but check-out is at 10am. The check-in desk operates 24 hours a day.
At check-in, an authorization equal to your room rate plus tax will be placed on your credit card. Using a credit card instead of a debit card is recommended to avoid potential holds on your funds. You are not obligated to settle the bill with the check-in card.

- Unless noted below our hotel cancellation policy is 10 days. If for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee, if provided more than 10 days’ notice. If cancelled after 3pm EST, 10 days prior to arrival, your 1st night deposit is non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited.
- For Rates: Advance Purchase the following cancellation and deposit policy applies: Reservation is non-refundable. No cancellations or modifications are allowed. 100% of stay due at time of booking.
- For Rates: Book Direct Offer (BKDO) the following cancellation and deposit policy applies: If for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee, if provided more than 7 days’ notice. If canceled after 3:00 pm EST, 7 days prior to arrival, your 1st-night deposit is non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited.
- For Rates: Stay Longer (STAY) the following cancellation and deposit policy applies: If for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee if provided more than 14 days’ notice. If canceled after 3:00 pm EST, 14 days prior to arrival, your deposit is non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited.
- For Rates: Return Guests Offer the following cancellation and deposit policy applies: If for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee, if provided more than 30 days’ notice. If canceled after 3:00 pm EST, 30 days prior to arrival, your deposit is non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited.
- For Rates: Cyber Monday (CYBER) the following cancellation and deposit policy applies: At the time of booking, a first night deposit is required. If for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee, if provided more than 30 days’ notice. If canceled after 3:00 pm EST, 30 days prior to arrival, your 1st-night deposit is non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited.
- For GROUP: 10 day cancellation is required unless otherwise stated in your contract.
Refundable one-night deposit due at time of booking; must cancel ten days before arrival by 3pm for a refund of deposit less a $25 Admin Fee.

Cancellations must be made 30 days before the arrival date for a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee. If canceled less than 30 days before arrival, your full deposit is nonrefundable and will be forfeited. Layaway Getaway payment plan:
- 1st Payment: 25% at time of booking
- 2nd Payment: 25% at 90 days before getaway
- 3rd Payment: 25% at 60 days before getaway
- Final Payment: 25% 30 days before getaway
Parking facilities are available at different rates depending on the season and type of accommodation. Please refer to our detailed parking policy or contact us at 508-398-6941 for more information and arrangements for oversized vehicles.
Early departures or mid-stay cancellations might incur an early departure fee. If a reservation is within the cancellation window, any modifications or early departures will incur a change or early departure fee.
Red Jacket Resorts charges a nightly resort fee equal to 10% of the room rate plus tax. This fee includes: private beach access, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach/pool towels, resort activities such as bicycles, beach volleyball, lawn games including corn hole, fitness equipment, and unlimited local and long-distance calls. Special summer activities (end of June - beginning of September) kids activities like the Amazin' Gamin' Bus, Magic Shows etc, beach yoga, live entertainment, popsicle happy hour, movie nights on the lawn, and much more.

Yes, cots are available at $25 plus tax per day, and cribs at $20 plus tax per stay.
The resort is a “No Drone Zone” due to its proximity to the Barnstable Municipal Airport and FAA regulations. Violations of this policy may result in penalties.
Yes, coin-operated laundry facilities are available on the first floor in the spa wing, with complimentary soap provided.
Red Jacket Beach Resort is a dog-friendly resort. We welcome dogs to several rooms, selected especially for our furry friend's comfort. Prior arrangements are required before you bring your pet, and a nightly fee of $50 per dog, plus tax applies.
However, common areas, including our restaurants, and Red Jacket Resort beaches do not permit dogs Memorial Day through Labor Day. Visit our pet-friendly page for more information.
You must be at least 21 years old to book a reservation. A valid photo ID and a credit or debit card in the guest's name are required at check-in.
