We reserve the right to make changes, corrections, and/or improvements to our website and booking engine, and to the products and programs described in such information, at any time without notice, including after confirmation of a transaction.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out is 11:00 a.m. For cottages, check-in is 4pm; check-out is 10am. Check-in is available 24 hours/day.

At check-in, an authorization equal to your room rate plus tax will be placed on your credit card. Using a credit card instead of a debit card is recommended to avoid potential holds on your funds. You are not obligated to settle the bill with the check-in card.

• Unless noted below our hotel cancellation policy is 10 days. If for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee, if provided more than 10 days’ notice. If cancelled after 3pm EST, 10 days prior to arrival, your 1st night deposit is non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited. 

• For Rates: Advance Purchase the following cancellation and deposit policy applies: Reservation is non-refundable. No cancellations or modifications are allowed. 100% of stay due at time of booking. 

• For Rates: Book Direct Offer (BKDO) the following cancellation and deposit policy applies: If for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee, if provided more than 7 days’ notice. If canceled after 3:00 pm EST, 7 days prior to arrival, your 1st-night deposit is non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited.

• For Rates: Stay Longer (STAY) the following cancellation and deposit policy applies: If for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee if provided more than 14 days’ notice. If canceled after 3:00 pm EST, 14 days prior to arrival, your deposit is non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited. 

• For Rates: Return Guests Offer the following cancellation and deposit policy applies: If for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee, if provided more than 30 days’ notice. If canceled after 3:00 pm EST, 30 days prior to arrival, your deposit is non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited.

• For Rates: Cyber Monday (CYBER) the following cancellation and deposit policy applies: At the time of booking, a first night deposit is required. If for any reason, you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee, if provided more than 30 days’ notice. If canceled after 3:00 pm EST, 30 days prior to arrival, your 1st-night deposit is non-refundable, and the deposit will be forfeited.

• For GROUP: 10 day cancellation is required unless otherwise stated in your contract.

Early departures or mid-stay cancellations might incur an early departure fee. If a reservation is within the cancellation window, any modifications or early departures will incur a change or early departure fee.

Parking at Blue Water Resort is limited. From Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend, guests with reservations in a standard guest room, family room, or suite are provided one parking space per unit for $25 per night. A second vehicle is subject to a $50 per night fee. Guests with reservations in a cottage or townhouse get two parking spaces per unit for $25 per night per vehicle. Before Memorial Day and after Labor Day weekend, the first vehicle is complimentary. However, a second vehicle is subject to a $25 per night fee. Prior arrangements are required for oversized vehicles such as boat trailers. Please contact Blue Water Resort at 508-398-2288 for these and other parking-related questions. 

Red Jacket Resorts charges a nightly resort fee of 10% of the room rate plus tax. This fee includes private beach access, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach/pool towels, resort activities such as bicycles, beach volleyball, beach swings, board games, lawn games including corn hole, fitness equipment, and unlimited local and long-distance calls. Special summer activities (end of June - beginning of September) like animal encounters, magic shows, beach yoga, live entertainment, popsicle happy hour, movie nights on the lawn, fishing derby, and more.

A destination fee of 1% finances the promotion of Cape Cod as a travel location, assists in expanding local attractions and events, and supports various other tourism enhancement efforts.

Blue Water Resort offers guests with disabilities several options to make their stay more enjoyable, including first-floor rooms, access ramps, grab bars and stools in showers, visual alarms, TDD phone equipment, and raised commode seating. Yes, cots are available at $25 plus tax per day and cribs at $20 plus tax per stay.

Individual charcoal grills are available in cottages. While charcoal is not provided, several stores are within a short drive.

Multiple dining options are available to enhance your stay. Each cottage and townhome features full kitchens.

The resort is a “No Drone Zone” due to its proximity to the Barnstable Municipal Airport and FAA regulations. Violations of this policy may result in penalties.

Coin-operated washers and dryers are available in the Edge of the Sea building. Soap products are available at Blue Water.

Blue Water Resort is a dog-friendly resort. We welcome dogs to several rooms, selected especially for their creature comforts. Prior arrangements are required before you bring your pet, and a nightly fee of $50 per dog, plus tax, applies. However, dogs are not allowed on any Red Jacket Resort beaches. You must be at least 21 years old to book a reservation. A valid photo ID and a credit or debit card in the guest's name are required at check-in.

Smoking is not allowed in guest rooms or public interior areas.
